What’s new this year?

We’re launching two new awards: RIBA Asia Pacific Awards and RIBA Middle East Awards. For the first time, these regions will be invited to submit projects for a new stage in our International Awards programme as part of a pilot.

To find out about our new categories, criteria and more read our latest news article RIBA launches Asia Pacific and Middle East Awards.

Also, make sure to join ARCity Office on 18 June 2025, 10:00 (BST) as they share the story behind their award-winning project Six Bricolage-houses, insights from the judging process, and what makes a compelling entry for the RIBA International Awards. Sign up to get your free ticket.

Why enter our awards?

Show your commitment to excellence: successful projects reflect changes and innovations in architecture, but at their core display a commitment to design that improves and enhance the communities they serve.

Comprehensive judging: every shortlisted project is visited by an expert jury, offering an unparalleled peer review by award-winning architects, along with relevant industry specialists in sustainability, conservation, and more.

Boost your visibility: gain exposure through international and national media coverage, a dedicated page on our website (with 2.5 million annual visitors), and promotion across our social media channels, reaching over half a million followers.

Recognition your clients will value: being shortlisted or winning an award grants valuable exposure for your practice, helping you secure more work and find collaborators who value the role of architects and good design.

Affordable entry fees: smaller projects can enter for as little as £180, with tiered entry fees that encourage participation from all project sizes. Financial support is also available.
