  • pledging your commitment to sustainable design through the 2030 Climate Challenge, with our support in client engagement and progress reporting

Eligibility criteria

To become a RIBA Chartered Practice, your practice must meet the following criteria:

  • at least one of your full-time principals (Director or Partner) must be a RIBA Chartered Member
  • at least one in eight of all staff must be a RIBA Chartered Member  and all of your architectural work must be supervised by a RIBA Chartered Member
  • your practice must commit to operating policies regarding best practice in: Employment; Equality, Diversity and Inclusion; Health and Safety; Environmental Management; and Quality Management

We recognise that a 'one size fits all' approach to RIBA Membership doesn’t suit all architectural practices - particularly larger ones. Find out if RIBA Corporate Membership is right for your practice.
